Annual Show & Tortoise Races 2024

This year's show will be held on Saturday 20th July. The schedule for the show can be downloaded here.

Please do submit entries to the Show - without you the Show is nothing!

Staging of entries takes place during the morning, doors open at 2.00pm, and the Tortoise Races start at 3.30pm. Presentation of the trophies by Michael Chapman, Epping Forest Verderer, is at 4.00pm.

The show is divided into the following sections:

• Vegetables and Fruit
• Flowers and Plants
• Handicrafts
• Photography
• Cookery and Preserves
• Junior Section (restricted to children under 16 on the day of the show)

To give you plenty of time to take them, the subjects for the photographic classes are: 

• Along the river
• Beetle(s)
• A thatched cottage
• A grand day out
• What is it?
• A misty/foggy day
• A set of 3 photos depicting different forms of transport
