Station flower beds

We started dealing with the eight station flower beds back in January 2016 when a team from the horticultural committee cleared weeds and found daffodils ready to re-emerge. These were splendid through March and April, and when they had finished flowering in May we started work on planting the beds up with perennials. These included geraniums, salvias, achillea, lavender, gaillardia, lupins, and many more!

We are having great difficulty in getting access to water because the station is often unmanned. The present heavy showers are a blessing in this respect.
